Dead rising as a series has alwayse been unique as it was a time managment zombie game and all your actions had conciquences Dead Rising 4 is a Dead Rising game. Something is only good if it's the exact same thing as the first one. That kind of thinking is very short-sighted. Dead Rising's big claim has always been the number of zombies you fight.
