Hi, I'm trying to get my eaton 18 shifter (g25 shifter with range toggle and splitter toggle) working with all 18 gears in the latest Oculus VR version of ETS2. The built-in ZF16 trans/shifter option works fine except Low L/H is missing and reverse is where Low should be, but the rest of the gears select correctly. I've taken the config parameters from ATS and copied them into my profile
Options>Controls, scroll to the bottom of the shifter position settings. Shift Toggle: 1 and Shift Toggle: 2 assign range and splitter functions. Range will switch between gears 1-6 and 7-12. The splitter 'adds' a gear for Low or High for the split gears. For an 18 speed arrangement, there is a Low and High for each gear: 1L, 3H, 6L, etc.
Logitech G29 H Shifter Not Registering. So my last G29 pedals had an issue a while back so I bought a new wheel and today I just bought a new shifter for it too cause I thought my last one was broke but this brand new shifter on this basically brand new wheel doesn't even register in game. Inputs don't light up in the wizard when I change gear
Re: Xbox controller H-shifter. I tried the toggle function but every time you want to shift to a new gear you need to select the currect gear before to untoggle it each time or the game gets all confused. There would have to be a function that overides previous toggles in order for that to work. Set by phpBB, used for the "remember me" option.

You need to map your buttons to shift-up and shift-down, not to the actual gears; those mappings are for h-shifters which "hold" the press when placed into a gear. #1.
